CAMPAIGN

This campaign was designed to educate the SUNY Oneonta community and other college campuses on the importance of eating nutrient-dense foods versus empty calories.
Eating nutrient-dense foods is of pinnacle importance as it provides the body with the essential vitamins, minerals, fats, and proteins to maintain and excel at daily functions. Empty-calorie foods are processed, unhealthy options that contain no nutritional value, and do not positively add to one’s daily caloric intake of foods. Eating nutrient-dense foods and avoiding those ’empty calories,’ has a positive correlation with ones health and can prevent health complications in the long run.
