EDUCATION

I am a Senior pursuing my undergraduate in Fashion Merchandising, and minoring in Communication Studies at the State College at Oneonta. I am projected to earn my Bachelor’s of Science degree in the fall of 2023. While studying here at Oneonta I am taking courses that further develop my skills and knowledge in Excel, Adobe Photoshop, as well as all Google and Microsoft-based applications. Furthermore, I am able to also use these skills outside of my fashion and communication studies and into my general education.

WORK EXPERIENCE

In March of 2019, I started my position as an assistant buyer at a local boutique in Hamilton, NY. As an assistant buyer for this women’s clothing boutique, I have various responsibilities. During buying seasons I travel to New York City or Los Angeles to meet with brand representatives in showrooms, or attend trade shows. Moda, Women’s Fashion, and Coterie are all wholesale trade shows I have previously attended in New York. At both the warehouses and showrooms, I look over samples, line sheets, and assist the owner in planning the store’s seasonal lines. Primarily, I have utilized Joor as a multifaceted tool to organize prospective orders and seasonal lines. As an assistant buyer, I also have the opportunity to work on the floor, interacting with and styling customers.
